We offer beef shares annually every summer. We do sell out every year. If you see a share available below, now is the time to grab it.
How it Works

Place Deposit
Choose your preferred beef share. Place your deposit online to secure your beef.
2
Pick Up Beef
Once your order is placed we will contact you to confirm the pick up date and options. Typically pick up is 1x/year near the end of June or mid July.
3
Pay Remainder
Upon pick up of your share you will pay the remaining balance on your beef share. Join us for a ranch tour and lunch at pick up day, or just grab your beef boxes and be on your merry way.
What's in a Share
Each cow is unique, the number and sizes of cuts vary by individual, but we have the averages below for you.
Locally cut and wrapped by artisan butchers, all the beef is pre-portioned, vacuum sealed, frozen and ready for your freezer. Get a larger share and split it with your neighbor and friends!
Skip the hassle at the butcher shop and time spent agonizing over which cut to purchase at the counter. Our beef share program is simple and straightforward when it comes to shares. Pay one price and leave the rest to us. No complicated communications between producer, butcher and paying checks to different parties. We use a standard cut sheet that we've evolved over the last 10 years from feedback from our customers. If you have a half or whole beef share and you'd like to fill out your own cut sheet, we can absolutely do that. Quarter and Eighth Shares will receive our standard cut sheet.

The Pick Up
We Look Forward to Pick Up Day Every Year
We make pick up day an event, complete with a ranch tour and chance to look the folks in the eye who raised your food, and ask any and all questions. See the land where the animals were raised and learn first-hand about our program. Enjoy lunch under the oak trees and visit with other Grounded Grassfed Members. Pick up is typically in June-July at peak grass finishing time of year.
Average Cost Per Share
In our program, you only pay for the exact beef you are taking home. After cutting and wrapping your beef share, we will invoice you for the exact weight your share. Animal, harvest, cut and wrap, transportation are all included in the price per pound. Buying in bulk through a beef share is far more economical than buying retail, cut by cut over the counter at the store. In fact, you save about 30% or more in value at the end of the day!
